H.H. Chöje Jigme Phuntso Jungne (Wish-Fulfilling Gem of
the Dharma King) himself said, “I did a grand recitation of
the Aspiration of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra at the Five
Peak Mountain in China, along with ten thousand
Tibetans, for taking rebirth in Western Pure Land of
Ultimate Bliss or Sukhavati.

At the time, when the large assembly of people was reciting
the Aspiration of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, I visited the
gathering for accomplishing the field of Sukhavati. When I
placed my left foot at the base of the throne, the assembly
recited, ‘May I free from karma, defilements, interfering
demons, And relief from worldly Samsara’.And when I reached upon the throne, the recitation completely coincided with ‘ Like the lotus is undisturbed by water, As the sun and moon move unhindered in the sky’.

Hence, this established the excellent auspicious connection of accomplishing welfare for all sentient beings, and unhindered-enlightening deeds, just as the sun and moon move unobstructed in the sky at this period of degeneration.”Just as he said, here in the emblem, the Wishfulfilling Gem in the form of the syllable ཨ is crafted upon the cushion of lotus, sun, and moon.

Precisely, the lotus with three petals is there to symbolize three supreme jewels, three roots, and the three kayas. The sun and moon are designed as an auspicious connection of complete illumination of the rays of wisdom and compassion, and to accomplish the welfare of sentient beings equal to Sun and Moon.

Upon that, the syllable ཨ that is the seed of the spiritual life force of all Buddhas is adorned, in order to signify that Dharma King, the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel who accomplishes the purposes of this life and the next as the entity of all Buddhas, and the king of Vajra.

Limitless illumination of golden light around it symbolizes the illuminating light of the enlightening deeds of the Guru, the Dharma King permanently penetrating across all space, and spontaneously accomplished until the disintegration of the cyclic existence. This splendid symbol was designed by Ju Rabsel, one of the Tibetan modern artist, the word Yishin Norbu in Tibetan is taken from H.H Jigmey Phuntso Rinpoche’s handwriting which could blaze with blessings, majestic brilliance and liberation by sight, its successful completion laid the auspicious connection. May the virtue abound.
