The Inauguration Ceremony of the MDTH Exhibition took place on 26/03/2023, marking a significant milestone in preserving and displaying invaluable relics of H.H. Jigme Phuntsok overseas. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso, a distinguished guest of honor.


During the ceremony, Ven. Tsewang Rinpoche graciously presented and elaborated on the priceless relics showcased. Among the remarkable exhibits were the sacred relics of H.H. Jigme Phuntsok, including his bone relics, fingernails, and hair strands. The exhibition also featured personal garments, belts, and handwritten manuscripts of H.H. Jigme Phuntsok, along with a diverse array of treasures associated with him.


Significantly, the exhibition highlighted the four books authored by H.H. Jigme Phuntsok. It was emphasized that H.H. himself had granted permission for the translation of his writings into various languages, underscoring the importance of disseminating his teachings. Additionally, a handwritten letter by the late Third Düdjom Rinpoche was on display, eloquently expressing the wisdom and merits of H.H. Jigme Phuntsok, emphasizing the profound significance of translating his writings.


Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso expressed deep gratitude for the privilege of being part of this momentous occasion. He emphasized the importance of cherishing and safeguarding these relics, recognizing their immense spiritual and historical value. The Exhibition has provided a rare opportunity for individuals to engage with these sacred relics and gain profound insights into the wisdom and compassion embodied in the lineage of H.H.
