The Majestic Flower of Compassion
The thangka of the Jataka story of H.H. Jigme Phuntsok The Majestic Flower of Compassion contains a total of 17 thangkas.
This set of thangkas was painted by famous thangka painters such as Lameng under the guidance of Gyatso Rinpoche, a close disciple of H.H. Jigme Phuntsok, as well as integrated the opinions with H.H. Dakini Muntso and the Khenpo Tsultrim Lodro and other living Buddhas.
The Majestic Flower of Compassion is the only artistic work that displays the life stories of H.H. Jigme Phuntsok in the form of Thangka. Its expressive techniques are full of vitality, and its painting art attainments are profound. The painting style of this set of Thangkas is vivid, simple and easy to understand, and faithfully restores and shows the endless compassion and solemnity of H.H. Jigme Phuntsok.
This set of Thangkas is enshrined in the Memorial Parinirvana Hall of H.H. Jigme Phuntsok at the Larung Gar Buddhist Academy.
相好庄严之花
法王如意宝晋美彭措的本生故事唐卡“相好庄严之花”共包含十七幅唐卡。此套唐卡是由法王如意宝的亲弟子加措活佛在以门措上师和慈诚罗珠堪布为主的堪布和活佛们的指导下请拉孟等著名唐卡画家绘制而成。
“相好庄严之花”是唯一以唐卡的形式来表现法王如意宝生平事迹的艺术作品。其表现手法充满活力，绘画艺术造诣深厚。该套唐卡画风生动，深入浅出，如实地还原和展现了法王如意宝无尽的慈悲和庄严。
此套唐卡供奉在五明佛学院的法王如意宝圆寂法会馆中。

1 Birth 诞生
Main: H.H. Jigme Phuntsok was born in 1933, on the third day of the first month of the Tibetan year of the Water Bird, in the Sertar region of Kham. As soon as H.H. was born, he sat upright without assistance, draped the placenta over his left shoulder as a monk would wear his robe, opened his eyes, and recited the mantra of Manjushri, “Om a ra pa tsa na dhi.”
Upper left: H.H. Jigme Phuntsok was the incarnation of the famous treasure revealer Lerab Lingpa, also known as Terchen Sogyel Dzogchen teacher of the 13th Dalai Lama.
Upper right: Pema Dorje prophesied that the boy was an excellent being.

2 Childhood 童年
Main: At the age of six, H.H. Jigme Phunktsok revealed treasure from the stone crack, which was the Terma of Vadisimha Manjushri. After praying very sincerely, he mastered reading and writing without learning and comprehended the general content of all exotoric and tantric Sutras.
Bottom left: H.H. Jigme Phunktsok saw the vivid scene from more than 900 years ago when he was Dan Sras Yuodbume, the minister of King Gesar.
Bottom right: When playing, H.H. revealed a lot of treasures and Buddha statues with no difficulty.
Middle: In pure vision, H.H. Jigme Phunktsok saw Manjushri.
Top: Peaceful and wrathful deities appeared to H.H. in pure visions.

3 Early Hearing, Contemlating and Meditating on Buddha’s Dharma 早年闻思修
Middle: H.H. Jigme Phuntsok received teaching from Khenpo Dorzong.
Top: H.H. Jigme Phuntsok saw Manjusri in pure vision when he was 14, and then he wrote The Praise of the Inner, Outer and Secret Wisdom Sword of Manjusri.
Middle left：H.H. made great efforts on learning, contemplating, and meditating on Buddha’s Dharma.
Bottom left: When H.H. was fourteen years old, he went to study with Khenpo Soname Ringchen from Drakdzong under whom he took monastic ordination and received the monastic name of Thubten Lekshe Zngpo.
Bottom right: At the age of fifteen, Ju Mipham Rinpoche began appearing to him in pure visions. Sometime later, he received the name Ngawang Lordo Tsungme while receiving empowerment.

4 Teaching and Debating on Buddhism Philosophy 讲法与辩经
Main：In 1950 when he was eighteen years old, H.H. Jigme Phuntsok went to Changma Gar in Dzato to receive further training under Tuben Chomple also known as Tubga Rinpoche. There he received extensive instructions and transmission empowerment.
Bottom left: H.H. Jigme Phuntsok had taken full monastic ordination at the age of twenty-two from Thubga Rinpoche.
Bottom right: H.H. was debating on Buddhism philosophy among the monks.

5 Turned the Wheels of Dharma 转法轮
Main：H.H. Jigme Phuntsok taught Lognchenpa’s Seven Treasuries at Dhokam Sangy Dzong.
Bottom left: Revealing holy water at Nubzur monastery.
Bottom right: When Dakini in human form came to Nubzur and said to H.H. “we are intimately connected by Guru Rinpoche’s blessings and prayers and thus I am karmically destined to be your consort that’s why I have come here”, H.H. decided to decline. Instead, he chose to fulfill his role of pure monastic lineage holder as a bhikshu according to Vinaya tradition.

6 Practised with Calm and Peace 清静修持
Main：During the difficult time, H.H. Jigme Phuntsok took the remote mountains of Serta to retreat and taught to a small group of disciples.
Top：At Molam Laka, King Gesar appeared along with his retinues and attendants in pure vision.
Bottom：H.H. Jigme Phuntsok continued to give transmission, empowerment, and different teachings to fortunate disciples during the most difficult time.

7 Repropagation of the Buddhist Dharma 佛法再弘
Main：H.H. Jigme Phuntsok was sitting on the throne.
Bottom left: H.H. established Larung Gar Buddhist Academy in the valley on the 10th of Monkey month of the year of the Iron Monkey. The Great Dudjom Lingpa had blessed this place, and thirteen yogis had in the past attained a rainbow body.
Bottom right: H.H.’s black goat pet reborn in the buddha-land after death. On the 2nd of June in the year of the Earth Snake, he came back in human form to see H.H..
Middle right: H.H. received The Secret Essence Tantra Guhyagarbh empowerment from Longchenpa and Dakini Yeshe Tsogyal.
Top right: H.H. saw Maitreya Bodhisattva at Shambala in pure vision.

8 Purified Buddhism 整顿佛教
Main: In the year of the Wooded Ox, H.H. Jigme Phuntsok purified Buddhism following the exotoric and tantric Dharma regulations.
Lower left: H.H. Jigme Phuntsok encouraged disciples to eat vegetarian food.
Lower right: Liberating living beings in Tibet and the mainland China.
Upper right: H.H. Jigme Phuntsok met Tsongkhapa in pure vision in the year of the Fire Tiger.

9 Visited Five Peak Mountains 拜访五台山
Main：H.H. Jigme Phuntsok met with the 10th Panchen Lama who encouraged and reassured him that he was sterring the right course on purifying Buddhism in Tibet. They made aspirations in front of the Buddha Tooth Relic Stupa.
Upper left：In 1987, the year of the Fire Rabbit, H.H. went to Five Peak Mountains in China accompanied by ten thousands of disciples.
Middle left: In the eastern Mount Wutai’s cave, H.H. revealed and wrote down the treasure text Peaceful Manjushri along with the associated commentary known as Placing Buddhahood Within Reach.
Upper right: Manjusri appeared in the Manjusri Cave in pure vision.

10 Visited Lhasa 前往拉萨
Main：When H.H. Jigme Phuntsok was sitting on the throne, Zongdemba and the reincarnation of Yeshe Tsogyal offered religious instruments to him.
Upper left: H.H. revealed a terma.
Bottom left: Azitrol led devotees to greet H.H. Jigme Phuntsok when he visited Zhugong Temple.
Bottom right: When H.H. Jigme Phuntsok raised Bodhicitta in front of the sacred Jowo Rinpoche statue at the Jokhang in Lhasa, he experienced a pure vision in which the statue smiled and spoke of his next rebirth in the pure land.
Middle right: A precious canopy had been installed on the top of Samya Monastery.
Upper right: When H.H. Jigme Phuntsok retreated inside the Samya Cave, he appeared in the wrathful form of Padmasambhava.

Top: On the top of the back hill of the Larung Gar Buddhist Academy, H.H. Jigme Phuntsok transmitted Vajra instructions to fortunate disciples.

16 Parinirvana 圆寂
Middle Right：At Larung, H.H. Jigme Phuntsok told the gathering that he would pass away in the near future. He said ‘after I left this body, do not look for my reincarnation but spend your time practicing what I have taught you.’ H.H.’s final advice to his disciples was ‘Do not lose your own path, do not disturb the minds of others.’
Top Right：On the 15th of December in the Tibetan Water Sheep Year, H.H. Jigme Phuntsok passed away.
Top Left：H.H. had vowed to bless and protect the Larung Gar Buddhist Academy and his followers at all times.
