Monthly Amitabha Practice
Every 15th Day of the Tibetan Lunar Month
One hour of practice, aspiration and dedication

A Monthly Commitment to Amitabha Practice
Every month on the 15th day of the Tibetan lunar calendar, Khenpo Tsewang Rinpoche invites practitioners to set aside one quiet and meaningful hour for the practice of Amitabha Buddha.
Wherever we may be in the world, we come together with a shared aspiration: to accumulate merit, strengthen bodhicitta, deepen our aspiration for rebirth in Sukhavati, and dedicate the merit for all sentient beings.
This practice is held once each month and lasts approximately one hour.

A Message from Khenpo Tsewang Rinpoche
If you are willing, I warmly invite you to join our monthly Amitabha practice.
On the 15th day of every Tibetan lunar month, we practise together for one hour. We take the Bodhisattva Vows, observe the Eight Mahayana Precepts, recite The Aspiration Prayer for Sukhavati, and together make the aspiration to be reborn in Amitabha Buddha's Pure Land.
Kyabje Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche repeatedly taught us that those who genuinely aspire to be reborn in Sukhavati can attain rebirth there. This is one of the most precious instructions he left for us.
For this reason, we should cherish this exceptional opportunity and bring our aspiration and Dharma practice into our everyday lives.
We believe that we may meet again in Amitabha Buddha's Pure Land in a future life. Those who have formed a profound Dharma connection with Kyabje Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche, and who possess sincere faith, aspiration and commitment to the precepts, should have firm confidence in rebirth in the Pure Land.
Rather than continuing to hesitate or search elsewhere, we should cherish the rare opportunity of this life, make aspirations together, practise together and progress together toward Amitabha Buddha's Pure Land.
This practice takes place only once each month and lasts just one hour. I sincerely hope that everyone will make time for this opportunity and reserve this quiet and pure hour for Dharma practice and for their spiritual path.
Wherever I may be in the world, and however busy my schedule may be, I will make every effort to participate in this one hour of practice. I believe that this is one of the most meaningful practices through which we can accumulate merit, strengthen bodhicitta, deepen our aspiration for the Pure Land and fulfil our wish for rebirth there.
May we all, with pure faith and unwavering aspiration, make the wish to be reborn in Amitabha Buddha's Pure Land. May we meet again before Amitabha Buddha, continue to follow the pure teachings of Kyabje Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche, and practise diligently until all sentient beings attain unsurpassed enlightenment.
Let us therefore not hesitate and not miss this opportunity. Once each month, for one hour, let us practise together, take the Bodhisattva Vows, observe the Eight Mahayana Precepts, make aspirations, recite The Aspiration Prayer for Sukhavati, and together accumulate the causes for rebirth in the Pure Land.
Please cherish this precious monthly practice. Arrange your time in advance so that together we may make aspirations, practise, and journey toward rebirth in Sukhavati.
Namo Amitabha.
